We are looking for a temporary volunteer who will assist with various things in the office including but not limited to: managing social media, transcribing, editing and archiving teachings, etc.

The minimum commitment is for 3 Months (October, November and December 2023). We need someone who is already in India (whether national or foreigner) or is happy to come to India by their own means. Applications will only be accepted until the 21st of September.

If you’re interested in the position, please consider:

You must

  • Be female
    • Between 25 and 45 years old. Sorry guys!
  • Have excellent spoken and written English skills
    • All of the material that the volunteer will be working with is in English language; therefore this is a very important requirement for this role.
  • Be decently versed in Dharma/Tibetan Buddhist terminology
    • Because of the nature of the texts and teachings the person will be engaging with a basic to intermediate knowledge of Tibetan Buddhism is required to be able to easily identify words and names that are usually employed in the teachings.
  • Be tech-savvy
    • We’re looking for someone who can easily and efficiently navigate a computer, have good typing skills and be familiar at the very minimum with Word, Excel.

    It would be good if

    • You’re familiar with Meta Business Suite to help with scheduling Facebook and Instagram posts
    • You’re familiar with a little bit of Photoshop and Premiere Pro in other words, photo and video editing
    • You have a good eye for taking pictures and are familiar with cameras
    • You’re a PC user, as we don’t have any Macs in the office
